Alma Lucero Acosta is originally from Houston, Texas but now resides in Los Angeles, CA. She graduated from The Theatre School at DePaul University with a BFA in Costume Technology with a minor in Latin American and Latinx. Studies. In 2014, she received a certificate in Wigs and Hair Maintenance from Wigs and Hair Chicago.

 

Alma is trained in all things costume technology as well as prosthetic makeup and wigmaking. She has had experience working in theatre, opera, dance, fashion and film.

Alma is now a member of IATSE's Motion Picture Costumers local 705. She works full time at Bill Hargate Costumes as a stitcher.
